Updating gpu driver
Option #3 prevents the automatic install of driver software from Windows Update and option #4 toggles the ability for Windows Update to download hardware related apps and other info from Windows Update.
During technical troubleshooting, you may be required to reinstall an OS update or driver.
Since it is available in Enterprise versions of Windows 10 the ability to control this setting using Group Policy should be an option as well.
Of course, if you opt to turn off automatic driver updates for your hardware that means you must manually find those updated drivers yourself from the manufacturer.
I have an AMD Radeon 7870 and I recently tried to update the drivers for Windows 7 64-bit.
I did a real clean uninstall of my previous drivers, but no matter what I try the driver install fails and I get this message: Driver Install: user must be a member of the Administrators group. And I've tried installing so many times that my restore points are all from within the last few hours, after the unsuccessful driver update.
